Stay the night in a former railway station!

In 2006 we bought in the heart of Värmland, by the river Klarälven the former railway station of Munkfors. We kept the old charm of the building and renovated the station into a lovely, spacious house.

The place of the station is fantastic, it’s opposite the river and 800 meters beside is the biggest waterfall of Värmland. A path along the river brings you to the old restored part of the village with interesting museums.
Where in former days the trains found their way, there’s now realized a cycle path of 90 km long, ‘the Klarälvsbanan’, so if you want you can step on the bike in front of the house. A trip that will take you through the beautiful nature!

You will find all kinds of facilities 800 meters from the house in Munkfors village

The house (size 160 m²) has a kitchen with all modern comfort, beside a big dining room, 2 bedrooms, a spacious living with (spare bed), a bathroom and 2 separate toilets.
